The other side of the camera

Hundreds, even thousands of gorgeous travel photos pass through HQ every week but it’s not often we get to see all the hard work it takes to get them.

These shots of Jon, one of our photographers, setting up for a shoot in Wadi Rum in Jordan is reminiscent of the great British filmmaker David Lean shooting scenes for his epic, Laurence of Arabia.

While this desert, is typically a stopover on the path to the ancient city of Petra, it is a stunning location well worth a visit and these shots prove it.
